Tibet 2010 : Day 2 - 17th MAY 2010

Day 2

Lhasa (拉萨) – Jokhang Temple (大昭寺), Potala Palace (布达拉宫), Sera Monastery (色拉寺)

It is advisable to stay in Lhasa for one or 2 days before travel to the higher altitude cities. Therefore we spent a day in Lhasa city and visited the famous palace, Potala palace.

After the ticket counter. There are white palace and red palace.




Each visitor only has 2 hours of visiting time inside the Potala palace. We are ready to go.

Summary: When visiting temple, you are not allowed to take photo. Be respect. Most of the Tibetans are not fish eater. If you engage a local Tibetan tour guide, remember not to order fish.
