Tibet 2010 : Day 1 - 16th May 2010

Day 1

Lhasa (拉萨)- Jokhang Temple(大昭寺), Barkhor Street (八廓街)

We arrived in Lhasa, Gonggar Airport (贡嘎机场) around 2.30pm afternoon. Our tour guide, Tashi was waiting for us outside the airport.

Summary: The sunset in Tibet is around 8pm. Higher the altitude, later the sunset. By the time we reached Lhasa city is about 4 pm. After checked in to the hotel, we searching for food and we were able to take a walk to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple.
